Series no. 16 “Documenti” made by the division, 1966-2002

This series consists of the so-called “documents” collection (in annual files) produced by Italia Nostra Trentino division between 1966 and 2002 (1969, 1996 and 2001 are missing). It consists of open letters, motions, orders of business, resolutions, appeals, press release concerning several environmental and cultural problems that the association was facing. The series also includes invitations to press conferences, ordinary general meeting calls and, from the late 80s, correspondence with provincial and municipal authorities, managing bodies of the park and members. In this series a few documents regarding the reddening phenomenon of Tovel lake and its preservation are present.

File 16.1 “Documenti” 1966-1986

In this file the correspondence and some printed documents are mainly present. The following documents concerning lake Tovel are pointed out:

Series 25 Photographic material, 1966-2003

This series consists of photographic material: pictures, negatives and slides.

Photographic material is collected in other series as well, especially in the series named “Centro di documentazione ‘Alberto Agostini’”.

It is characterized by 74 pictures from 1970 relating to buildings on lake Tovel.

Series 26 “Centro di documentazione ‘Alberto Agostini'”, 1927 – 2006

This series, along with the division library and newspaper archive, forms the “Centro di documentazione” entitled to Alberto Agostini (1933-2004, architect, socialist municipal councillor, member of Trentino division board of Italia Nostra since its inception in 1963), is made up of a wide collection of documentation related to subjects and aspects concerning, in particular, the protection and the promotion of cultural and natural heritage of Trento Province, subjects and aspects that Trentino division of the association had been facing during its activity. The documentation is made up for the most part of local press review, and to a lesser extent, of the national one; the press review may include newspapers, copies or extracts from paper printed, press releases (mostly realized by the Provincial Council or by Trento Autonomous provincial government) and information brochures of various kinds
