In this fond there are no writings or documents relating to the phenomenon of the reddening of lake Tovel. In Cesare Battisti’s notebooks, as evidence of his ability as a geographer, it is possible to see the first attempts of systematic descriptions of the lakes of Trentino, including lake Tovel.
