Specifically, there is some documentation on the objection to the exploitation of waters (with particular regard to the preservation of reddening phenomenon), to safeguard the alpine brown bear habitat, countering road projects in Tovel valley (named Malga Flavona road).

It should be noted the mimeograph called “Draft proposal on national park”, approved by the Commission for nature preservation of National Research Council (ref. Commissione Natura – Archivio centrale dello Stato), which includes reports about the protection of Genova valley, with particular reference to the exploitation of the valley for power generation. Furthermore, the following documents should be taken into account: newspaper articles about the safeguard of Tovel lake and valley (“L’alto Adige della domenica”; “Corriere della sera”), the minutes of the meeting on 9th November 1965, at the headquarters of Sat in Cles, about the constitution of a national park in Tovel valley (the meeting participants were: Renzo Stringari, President of the section; Pietro Bolner; Melchiorre Foresti; Carlo Claus, an academic of C.A.I.; the secretary Franceso Borzaga on behalf of the association Italia Nostra – section of Trento, Gino Tomasi from Trento museum, Fabio Odorizzi of Riva, Sergio Giovannazzi, Renato Jellici and Gerosa from Trento as well). Following, there is the annex containing the list of “areas of panoramic interest” of the Province of Trento, for which the declaration of important public interest according to the law on 29th June 1939 No. I497 had already been issued or in progress. It was a speech by Francesco Borzaga during the congress in Fondo, a correspondence between Borzaga and the Superintendence of Monuments and galleries of Trento and Bolzano provinces.
